Paying for Hospice

DON’T WORRY, YOU’RE COVERED

Paying for Hospice

Hospice provides a full range of services for people with serious illness. It also supports loved ones and caregivers. It’s hard enough facing the fact that your aging or terminally ill loved one will be entering hospice shortly, but add the stress of determining who will pay for it all, and it’s understandable why you would feel so overwhelmed.

At Mission Healthcare, we are dedicated to helping our patients receive the best and most affordable care possible, which is why we work with many insurance companies and policies.

EASY WAYS YOU CAN PAY

Payment Options

Hospice care is covered by Medicare, Medicaid (in most states), the Veteran’s Health Administration, and most private insurers.

PRIVATE HEALTH INSURANCE
In most cases, private insurance plans provide a hospice benefit. Deductibles, co-pays and limits of coverage are set by your individual policy. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to review the specifics of your coverage, plan, deductibles, and co-pays.

VETERAN BENEFITS
If you are a U.S. Veteran, your hospice care could be covered by The Department of Veterans Affairs. You can learn more by contacting a VA representative or by visiting the United States Department of Veterans Affairs website.
