I have worked at Mission now for just over 9 years and it has been a brilliant experience from day one. Working with so many talented people both inside and outside of the office has been a privilege. Watching the company grow over the years has been exciting – there has never been, and I doubt there ever will be a dull moment at Mission. Working with positive talented people in my team is another reason I enjoy working at Mission.

Among the many reasons I enjoy working for Mission Healthcare the number one, by far, is the people. In hospice work, I know each day what I am called to do, comforting the dying, and supporting families in grief. But it is my teammates—the many compassionate nurses, talented social workers, chaplains, deeply caring home health aides, and more—who really make all the difference, both for our patients and myself, transforming hospice "work" into something more: a caring mission carried out by extraordinary people.

At Mission, I choose to take of people because no matter what is going on in someone’s life everyone deserves dignified care. Mission continuously provides support of clinicians out in the field by providing appropriate protective equipment, by monitoring staff caseloads as well as providing morale boosters through interactive activities. This in return allows patients to receive dedicated care from clinicians who love what they do and are proud of the care they provide.

I have personal experience within my own family with both home health and hospice. Some people may view home health or hospice as sad occurrences in life, but my memories are near and dear to my heart. This is the reason I wake up every morning hoping to make a difference for a patient or family in need of help. I am grateful for my Mission family, I have worked alongside many of my coworkers for close to ten years.

Working at Mission Healthcare has been such a blessing to my family in so many ways. The flexibility of home health nursing has allowed me to be present with my children and their schedules while pursuing my career. In the time I've been with Mission, our family has grown, however management helped me transition into a remote position where I've excelled in. Mission made it possible for me to raise a family and pursue my career without skipping a beat.
